There is a Konner Sohnen KS 5200 PS charging station. There is grounding in the house. When connecting Baxi, Luna issues an error E317.
We read the instructions:
317 - Incorrect power supply frequency.
We read on.
Baxi - wants 50Hz
KS 5200 PS - gives 50Hz
Google does not find any information. AI says that the station does not produce a clean 50Hz, and the boiler is very sensitive. Recommends setting a stab that will equalize frequency, sine, etc. Such stabs are not cheap and take up a lot of space.
I have a little distrust of AI. So before you spend money - a little more info search.
I find information that the boiler does not ignite if it does not have a real zero. This is in no way related to the E317 error. But it is worth looking at your shield.
I have a two-pole AVR that switches City (A) and Charging Station (B). When the city is connected, the station is charged (after AVR). This is where I saw that I had assembled a completely isolated network. When AVR switches to the station, zero and phase from the city are cut off.
So I sorted through some shields. The station is powered from the city to AVR. That is, ALWAYS. If there is no power from the city, zero is still available.
Also, the KS 5200 PS instruction writes that it needs a grounded zero. The electricians who made me ground threw the ground on the zero tire under the meter. So everything is fine here.
We test - and the boiler works. So the E317 error that Baxi issued did not indicate exactly what was needed. And AI does not always suggest what is needed.
