Distance Education. How does the school help to learn conveniently and safely?

In recent years, more and more people are convinced: distance schools offer advantages that traditional education cannot provide.

Individual pace. Distance learning, with its flexible schedule and variety of programs, helps to adapt the educational process to the characteristics of the student.
Comfort. Since the student is learning online, parents have the opportunity to create the most comfortable and safe environment for studying.
The ability to attend classes from anywhere. This is especially relevant now, when many children have been forced to leave their own cities or even go abroad.
Innovative approach to learning. All materials, lessons, and tasks are in one place, on a convenient interactive platform.

Although distance learning is universal, it cannot be the only format for everyone. To make it effective, it is important to choose an educational package that meets your child's needs.

What are these educational packages?

It is hard for us (people who often got chalk on their school uniforms during lessons) to imagine, but such alternative education offers many options. For example, we can take the largest distance school in Ukraine, "Optima," and see what educational packages it offers:

"Student." This is the main program that provides all possible advantages of distance learning:
- access to the interactive platform 24/7;
- engaging video lessons with elements of animation and cartoons, educational games, tests, and 3D models;
- access to the platform for learning English;
- interesting notes with plenty of photo and video examples;
- individual approach to each child: the teacher checks, comments, and evaluates each student's task;
- online consultations with teachers and the school psychologist;
- group project work, socialization programs for children.
"Student SMART." The only difference of this package from the previous one is more flexibility and freedom in the learning process, as the child only has to complete mandatory tests, tasks, and assessments.
"Extern" / "SuperExtern." Here, the student does not have to complete all tasks and tests, as the quality of material comprehension will be comprehensively checked by the annual control work.
