Along with the premiere of the first episode of the new anime The Ghost in the Shell by Science SARU, the series introduced its main Japanese voice cast.
Motoko Kusanagi is voiced by Maaya Sakamoto, Daisuke Aramaki — Kazuhiro Yamaji, Batou — Hiroki Yasumoto, Togusa — Yuichi Nakamura, Ishikawa — Kosuke Goto, Saito — Toru Nara, Operator — Mari Oi, and Fuchikoma — Tomoko Kaneda.
OP and ED are already available without subtitles
In addition to the cast, the series has also released subtitle-free versions of the opening and ending themes. The opening is accompanied by the song King Gnu “GO GHOST”, while the ending features “Blue” performed by MILLENNIUM PARADE featuring Saya Gray and Daniel Caesar.
The original manga Ghost in the Shell was published from April 1989 to November 1990 in Kodansha's Young Magazine. The new anime is directed by Moko-chan, with the script and composition of the series written by To Endo, character design and key animation supervised by Shuhei Handa, and music created by Taisei Iwasaki, Ryo Konoishi, and YUKI KANESAKA.
