🛡️ Rate Limiting

What is rate limiting?

Rate limiting is a mechanism that automatically slows down or temporarily blocks excessive activity from a single IP address. It is standard practice to protect websites from automated bots, brute-force attacks, and other abuse.

Why is it needed?

We care about keeping the site fast and available for everyone. Without limits, automated bots or scripts can quickly overload the server and make the platform unavailable for regular users.

Why was I blocked?

The most common reasons for a temporary block:

  • Too many requests sent in a short period of time.
  • Too many login attempts in a short period.
  • Your device is on a shared network (corporate VPN, university, public Wi-Fi) where the limit is shared across all users.

How long will I be blocked?

The block is usually lifted automatically within a few minutes. If the problem persists after waiting, please contact us.

How to unblock?

Wait a few minutes and try again. If you were entering login credentials, double-check your email and password. If you believe your IP was blocked by mistake, contact us using the form below.

I am a regular user — what should I do?

Yes — if you see a 429 error, just wait a few minutes and try again. If you use the site actively and encounter this regularly, reach out to us and we will sort it out.
