There is one week left until the Japanese release of Patlabor EZY File 1, and the project has already shown a new collaboration video with VTuber Mori Calliope. The video features her new theme for the series — "Reimei Compass".

The teaser also showcases new clips from the title itself, interspersed with footage of Mori Calliope in action. This is another look at the series ahead of the premiere of the first part.

Those who attend screenings in the first week will receive a special bonus — a postcard featuring AV-98Plus Ingram.

It was also reminded that the release format: the eight-episode Patlabor EZY will be released in Japanese theaters in three parts. File 1 will start on May 15, 2026, File 2 on August 14, 2026, and File 3 is scheduled for March 2027. The first six episodes included in File 1 and File 2 will be separate stories in an anthology format, while the 7th and 8th episodes in File 3 will form a continuous narrative.

The director of Patlabor EZY is Yutaka Izubuchi, based on the original work by HEADGEAR. The project is being produced by J.C. Staff, with the script and series composition oversight by Kazunori Ito, character design and chief animation direction by Takamitsu Sato, CG direction by Yasutomo Moriizumi, and music composed by Kenji Kawai. CG is handled by GAZEN, and overall production is managed by GENCO.
