Mononoke the Movie: The Curse of the Serpent, the third film in the trilogy that continues the story of the original anime Mononoke, has received a new trailer. The video briefly summarizes the events of the first two parts and hints at new threats.

The screening of Mononoke the Movie: The Curse of the Serpent in Japanese theaters starts on May 29. Earlier in this same trilogy, the films Phantom in the Rain and The Ashes of Rage were released.

The direction is handled by Kenji Nakamura as the main director. The project is being worked on by Twin Engine and Studio Kafka EOTA, as well as director Tomoaki Koshida, screenwriter Yasumi Atarashi, original character designer Kitsuneko Nagata, Yuichi Takahashi, who is responsible for character animation design and main animation direction, and composer Taku Iwasaki.

Crunchyroll also reminds that it is streaming the 2006 television anime Mononoke. The plot of the series unfolds in feudal Japan, where evil spirits known as mononoke terrorize both homes and villages. The only person capable of destroying them is the Medicine Seller, but before he can draw his sword, he must understand the Form, Truth, and Reason of each spirit.
