The camera usually works (according to the instructions) on such a battery for one to two dozen rolls of film (depending on flash usage, etc.). However, it is often mentioned on Reddit that the battery runs out quickly. Therefore, it is advised to carry a spare (as with other cameras). But the nuance is that this type of battery is harder to find (than regular AA or AAA).
I bought CR123A batteries from AJAX (a Ukrainian company, but the battery is manufactured in China). Just in case, I took Duracell (they are recommended as more reliable batteries in general).
