Do you want quick, tasty, and aromatic chicken? There’s a solution! You can prepare juicy wings with a crispy crust and a hint of spiciness on the grill. And all in just 22 minutes. This fantastic speed is provided by the use of the air fryer. Moreover, a dish that is often associated with fast food and frying in large amounts of oil does not require any additional drops of fat in this case. So, we share our own experience and photos of all stages of the process.

We will need: 

  • 1 kg of chicken wings (12 pcs)
  • barbecue sauce
  • Tabasco sauce
  • smoked paprika
  • granulated garlic
  • chili pepper (we have a mix of chili flakes, salt, and dried garlic)

Cooking

We rinse the wings under cold running water and dry them with paper towels. We cut the wings (we chopped them with a kitchen cleaver) into 2 segments. We remove any bone fragments that may have remained during the process. This is the only labor-intensive stage of the entire recipe; everything else is fantastically easy.
We transfer the cut wings to a large bowl, add all the spices, and mix thoroughly. We wait literally 2-3 minutes for marination.

We set the temperature to 180 degrees and the time to 22 minutes. When 22 minutes have passed, we take out the bowl and flip the wings to the other side so that the crust is crispy on all sides of the wings. We return the bowl back to the air fryer.
After cooking is complete, we take the wings out of the bowl, transfer them to a plate, and enjoy!
