We will need: 

  • 1 kg chicken wings (12 pcs)
  • barbecue sauce
  • Tabasco sauce
  • smoked paprika
  • granulated garlic
  • chili pepper (we have a mix of chili flakes, salt, and dried garlic)

Preparation

Rinse the wings under cold running water, dry them with paper towels. Cut (we chopped them with a kitchen hatchet) the wings into 2 segments. Remove any bone fragments if they remain during the process. This is the only labor-intensive step of the entire recipe; everything else is fantastically easy.
Transfer the cut wings to a large bowl, add all the spices, and mix thoroughly. Wait literally 2-3 minutes for marinating.

Set the temperature to 180 degrees and the time to 22 minutes. When 22 minutes have passed, take out the bowl and flip the wings to the other side so that the skin is crispy on all sides of the wings. Return the bowl back to the air fryer.
