Official website of Godzilla Minus Zero, the sequel to the film Godzilla Minus One by Takashi Yamazaki, has shown a teaser trailer and a new visual. It also features the slogan: “Our crime and punishment. Returning to zero is not an option.”
When will the movie be released
Godzilla Minus Zero will premiere in Japan on November 3, and in North America on November 6. During the same week, the release will almost simultaneously take place worldwide, including in Latin America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Australia, and New Zealand.
Who will return to their roles
In addition to the previously announced Ryunosuke Kamiki as Koichi Shikishima and Minami Hamabe as Noriko Oishi, the site confirmed five more actors returning from Godzilla Minus One. They are Hidetaka Yoshioka, Yuki Yamada, Kuranosuke Sasaki, Sakura Ando, and Miu Tanaka.
Also joining the cast is Min Tanaka — he will play Kanji Murakami, a biologist with deep psychological scars related to the war.
What the sequel is about
Godzilla Minus Zero will be a direct continuation of Godzilla Minus One and will unfold in 1949, two years after the events of the previous film. The story will continue the plot of the Shikishima family, who will once again face a new disaster.
