The Japanese vocal group Dannie May has released a music video for their new digital single "BAD Idenshi" ("Bad Gene"). This song serves as the opening for the second season of the series Yoroi-Shinden Samurai Troopers.

At the same time, a creditless opening creditless opening for the second season has also been released on the official YouTube channel. The single "BAD Idenshi" became the 38th digital release of the group and was released on July 8.

On the official anime website, the group shared that they received a request for a song about "a great battle between a father and child," and created a track that conveys accumulated teenage emotions, tension, the desire to be heard, and a bit of love and longing for it.

Yoroi-Shinden Samurai Troopers is a new anime in the Samurai Troopers franchise. The first season consisted of 12 episodes and aired from January to March 2026, while the second season started on July 7, 2026.
