The anime “Chitose Is in the Ramune Bottle” has officially confirmed the start of its second season. The show will continue with the 14th episode in October 2026.

Along with this, the series has received a new trailer. It was also revealed that the 13.5th episode, which briefly summarizes the events of the series up to this point, will be released a week before the premiere of the 14th episode.

The original light novel Chitose Is in the Ramune Bottle is published by Shogakukan under the Gagaga Bunko label. Currently, 9 main volumes and 3 collections of short stories have been published in Japan. The series is authored by Hiromu, and the illustrations are created by raemz.

There is also a manga adaptation by Square Enix illustrated by Bobcat. English versions of both the light novel and the manga are published by Yen Press.

The television anime is directed by Yuji Tokuno at the studio feel.. The series composition is handled by Naruhisa Arakawa, the scripts are written by Hiromu and Naruhisa Arakawa, and the character design is done by Sumie Kinoshita.

Crunchyroll describes it as a story about Saku Chitose, a student at the prestigious Fujishi High School in Fukui Prefecture. He studies well, plays well on the field, and has an active social life, and now in his second year, he is tasked with helping a classmate outcast return to school life.
