The second season of the anime You and I Are Polar Opposites has received a new opening theme. The song “Neko Jarashi” performed by 7co was used for it.

The single featuring this composition was released on July 5 and is already available for streaming and download on Spotify, Apple Music, and other platforms.

The anime is being produced by Tokakdzu Nagatomo, who previously directed the episode SHOSHIMIN: How to become Ordinary. The series is created by the studio Lapin Track.

The screenplay is written by Teruko Utsumi, character design was developed by Mako Miyako, and the music was composed by tofubeats. The original manga belongs to Koči Agasava.

Crunchyroll is airing the series in an ongoing format and describes the story as follows: Suzuki is a high school girl who has fallen in love with a boy who is nothing like her. She is cheerful, sociable, and constantly tries to fit in with her surroundings, while Yusuke Tani is reserved, silent, and seems not to care much about others' opinions. Will Suzuki dare to overcome her doubts and ask him out on a date, or will it turn out that opposites really do not attract?
