Before Ani-May 2026, Crunchyroll and Spotify presented a new playlist by REI AMI — a Korean-American rapper and singer, known to many for her voice as Zoe in KPop Demon Hunters. The selection includes her favorite tracks from anime, which she calls an important part of her life.

In the conversation, REI AMI mentioned that she grew up on anime and especially fondly remembers ONE PIECE, which played on the TV in her cousins' house. The first title she truly connected with was Sailor Moon — because of the teamwork, style, and sense of girl power. She calls Fruits Basket her comfort anime, to which she returned even in school.

Among the selected songs are "Moonlight Densetsu", "Moon Pride", "For フルーツバスケット", "New Genesis", "紅蓮華", "Guren no Yumiya", "ətˈæk 0N tάɪtn", "Kaikai Kitan", "The WORLD", "rise [TV size]", and other tracks that cover both classic OP/ED (opening and ending songs) and more modern anime soundtracks. The playlist also includes several of REI AMI's own compositions.

Among them are "random acts of violence", "body bag", "shhh", "yellow tape", and "what have i done?". She also shared that she is working on a new album — a continuation of her latest EP shhh. According to her, the new work will be brighter, more sincere, and focused on themes of joy and renewal.
