The anime Shangri-La Frontier is officially preparing for its third season, which will start in January 2027. Along with this, a new teaser trailer has been released.

In the video, the events unfold again not in the vast world of SLF, but in Galaxia Heroes: Chaos. The teaser shows new scenes of the confrontation between heroes and villains within the ongoing Global Game Competition, as well as allows us to see new characters, including Clockfire.

The director of Shangri-La Frontier Season 3 is Hiro Oki at the studio C2C. The series composition is handled by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu, character design and the role of chief animation director is performed by Ayumi Kurashima, while the music is composed by MONACA.

Toshiyuki Kubooka, who directed the first two seasons, is working this time as the chief director. Among the additional team members are also noted assistant director Naoki Kotani, monster designers, battle effects directors, the CG team, and other specialists.

Crunchyroll streams the anime Shangri-La Frontier and describes it as a story about a future world where old games are considered retro, and "crap-games" are projects that can't keep up with VR technologies.
