On the official YouTube channel of singer and songwriter majiko, a music video for her fresh digital single "Ribbon" has appeared. This composition serves as the OP — opening theme — for the spring anime The Food Diary of Miss Maid.

The song "Ribbon" was released digitally on May 8. It was written, composed, and arranged by majiko herself. For the singer, this is already her third anime track after the ending "WISH" for 7SEEDS (2019) and "GHOST" for Theatre of Darkness: Yamishibai Season 13 (2024).

The video also features Aruno Nakanishi from the idol group Nogizaka46, where she showcased her drumming skills. This collaboration became possible because majiko performed the ending for the live-action adaptation of Shuzo Oshimi's manga The Flower of Evil, and Nakanishi appeared in the school arc of the series.

The anime adaptation of the manga Susume Maeya The Food Diary of Miss Maid premiered in Japan on April 1. The director is Ryosuke Senbo (Yokai Watch!), and the series was produced by the studios EMT Squared and Magic Bus. The series composition is handled by Natsuko Takahashi and Saeka Fujimoto, character design was done by Chiaki Abe, and the music was composed by Katsutoshi Kitagawa (Buddy Daddies).

Crunchyroll is streaming The Food Diary of Miss Maid for subscribers worldwide, except for Japan, China, and Korea. The plot follows Suzume, who, after a mysterious incident, leaves her job at a British estate, moves into a small apartment in Japan, and starts a new life, discovering the local cuisine.
