It's spring outside, and I wanted to print something colorful. I chose a birdhouse. I found a decent model on Makerworld:

How much plastic and time is needed?
24-27 hours of printing
~900 grams of plastic
9 plates
3D - прев'ю
Стандартний профіль - PLA
Printing profile for PLA. I printed with PETG from PYD. Colors - yellow, white, and coyote.
The most frequently asked question in the comments about the model is - how to attach it?
There is a bracket for attaching the birdhouse with 3 screws. It is located on the seventh plate.
Well, that's about it. Let's print. Let's assemble.
We will need a screwdriver, 4 screws (the bottom/floor is attached with screws), and glue (for better fixation of the elements).
Out of curiosity, I weighed all the parts. The scale shows 911 grams.
The assembly is not difficult. Glue was used only on two parts.
We also discarded one part. The round piece at the entrance of the house. Its size is about 1mm smaller than needed, and it just falls out. I considered the option of printing this element at a scale of 102% or something like that. But we abandoned this idea. Better not to take risks. I don't want the bird (if it settles) to get stuck.
Regarding the size of the entrance hole. It may seem that it is too small. But the birdhouse should have an entrance size of 30-35mm. The point is to prevent predators from getting inside.

And then we go and hang it on a tree. There, you need to dig around to find a good position. I had to use an additional piece of wood behind to create a flat surface. I also screwed a support from below to eliminate play and excess tilt.
Overall, in terms of feelings - this is more of a decorative element for the tree or a toy for children (judging by the photos from Makerworld, people use the birdhouse in various contexts).
