Russia is systematically striking at book warehouses and printing infrastructure. This is not a side effect of the war — it is the target. Destroyed print runs, paper shortages, and rising prices — all of these are direct consequences of strikes on publishing houses and printing presses.
Recently, Oleksiy Erinchak (Instagram), the founder of "SENS," spoke about the scale of this problem in the video "Strike on the Infrastructure of Hope." He explains why the destruction of a warehouse is not just lost books, but a blow to the ability of publishers to exist at all: print runs that have accumulated over the years disappear in a matter of minutes, and restoring them requires months of work and funds that are often unavailable.
In the same video, there is a good thought about popularization: write about books, publish on social media, share what you are reading, who liked what from what was read. It sounds simple, but this is how demand is formed — people buy more often what they see and hear from others.
After watching this video, we realized that we could do something concrete — not just write another text about the importance of support, but gather Ukrainian publishers and bookstores in one place to make it clear whom and how to support. Thus, the page “Support Ukrainian Book” was created. And in general, just for convenience.
On the page, there is a catalog of publishers and bookstores: who works online, who has physical locations, where exactly. There is a map of addresses, filters by type and city, links to websites and social media. The goal is simple - popularization.

For now, we are filling the database manually: checking each entry, adding addresses, searching for contacts. The catalog is growing gradually, and if we missed someone important — write to us (here in the comments or at support@tseivo.com). We will add them.
Plans, if resources allow, include expanding the catalog to libraries and authors, because supporting Ukrainian books is not just about publishers and bookstores.
