This was reported by Ruslan Kravchenko, the Attorney General of Ukraine.
A year ago we launched "StopPressure" – a digital platform for direct communication between businesses and the Office of the Attorney General.
At that time, it was a new tool whose effectiveness was to be confirmed by practice. Today we can state that we have managed to build a systematic communication with entrepreneurs and establish prompt responses to specific situations. The interaction mechanisms are clear and understandable.
Businesses know where to turn in cases of unlawful pressure, procedural abuses, unjustified seizure of property or interference in economic activities, account blocking, and other illegal actions by law enforcement. Requests are registered automatically and immediately sent to the authorized unit of the Office of the Attorney General and the relevant regional prosecutor's office. Next – verification, response, and feedback. Over the year, 297 requests have been received through the platform, of which 292 have already been processed. In 58 cases, prosecutors took measures to restore the violated rights of entrepreneurs. 47 personal meetings with business representatives have been organized. In addition, entrepreneurs have been returned cash in various currencies totaling over 78 million UAH, as well as precious metals, cars, equipment, and machinery. No request goes unanswered; each one is based on a specific situation and a specific solution. This is what systematicity means.
Active work will continue, and if you, as an entrepreneur, feel pressure – please reach out through stoptysk.gp.gov.ua. The verification and response mechanism is activated with just a few clicks. Our position remains unchanged: honest business must operate and be protected. And those who violate the law, regardless of their status or position, must be held accountable. We will keep working
