Nintendo has introduced Pictonico! — a new mobile application where you can turn selected photos into "fun mini-games." In the game, you can involve yourself, friends, and family, with the launch planned for the end of this month.

Pictonico! will be released on iOS and Android on May 28. Pre-registration is already open, and a first look at the game can be obtained from the trailer shown during the announcement.

Pictonico! is announced as a free-to-start game — meaning basic access is free, but with optional in-game purchases. Several mini-games are available right away, while the rest need to be unlocked through additional packs.

According to Nintendo's description, the application features over 80 mini-games. Among them are tasks involving zombie attacks, strange transformations, carnival challenges, and other chaotic scenes.

Players will be able not only to complete these mini-games but also to save the results as images or videos to share with friends and family.
