Comparison of the Berserk animation [Let's watch the trailers]

The anime "Berserk" has several adaptations, each differing in animation style. I have already made a post about the order in which to watch Berserk. There, I mentioned that the styles are very different and fans have divided opinions. I gathered trailers on YouTube, so you can compare them yourself

The first adaptation is known for its traditional 2D anime style, which conveys the dark and realistic tone of the original manga. The animation focuses on detailed characters and atmospheric backgrounds. As a fan of old-school animation, I really enjoyed it (personally my favorite). Also, it's worth noting the opening (very upbeat for dark fantasy).

This series of films uses a combination of 2D and 3D animation. The 3D character models are integrated with traditional animation, giving it a more modern look, although some viewers noted that it affected the fluidity of movements.

This adaptation primarily uses 3D CGI animation. While this allowed for dynamic battle scenes, the style received mixed reviews due to sometimes clunky animation and differences from the original manga.

This is an updated version of the "Golden Age" trilogy with improved animation and additional scenes, providing a smoother and more detailed look.

Each of these adaptations offers a unique visual approach to the epic story of "Berserk," reflecting the evolution of animation technologies and styles. While searching for trailers, I saw a lot of videos analyzing animation issues in the search results. Users compile collections of failures and strange moments. Of course, after the manga, these adaptations may seem off. But personally, it was enough for me to watch 1 episode with 3D animation to adapt/get used to it (I haven't read the manga). Despite the nuances of animation - it is still good dark fantasy.
