For Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2, details of the musical accompaniment have been officially revealed: the opening and ending of the second season already have their performers.
The opening will be “10:15 Saturday Night” by the English rock band The Cure, and the ending theme will be “Watson” by the French singer-songwriter Petite Meller.

The events of the series unfold in the world of the tabletop RPG R. Talsorian Games and the video game Cyberpunk 2077 by CD PROJEKT RED. The first Cyberpunk: Edgerunners was directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi at TRIGGER, and at the Anime Awards 2023, it won the title of Anime of the Year.
The second series is directed by Kai Ikarishi at TRIGGER. The series composition is handled by Masahiko Otsuka, character design is created by Ichigo Kanno, and the music is composed by Tsunéo Imahori.
The new project will consist of 10 episodes, will be released exclusively on Netflix, and is scheduled for fall 2026. The series description promises a separate story about Night City, where the fates of the characters intertwine on the brink of personal tragedy, revenge, and legacy.
