MAPPA celebrates the 15th anniversary of the studio and on this occasion prepares a series of special visuals. The first of them has already been released and is dedicated to Chainsaw Man - The Movie: Reze Arc.
The new art features Reze — one of the most anticipated heroines of the film. The illustration was drawn by Shōichi, who works as the animation director on the project.
Who worked on the new art
The digital painting was handled by Misaki Nakano, the backgrounds were created by Taichi Uchima, and the compositing was done by Yusuke Tannawa.
MAPPA also hints that this is just the first of three new visuals prepared for the studio's anniversary.
Chainsaw Man - The Movie: Reze Arc was directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara at MAPPA. The assistant director was Masato Nakozono, the script was written by Hiroshi Seko, character design was done by Kazutaka Sugiyama, and the music was composed by Kensuke Ushio.
