The official YouTube channel of the Animation ID project has shown a teaser for the second season of With Vengeance, Sincerely, Your Broken Saintess and confirmed its premiere for October 2026.

The first season of the light anime adaptation aired in Japan from July to September 2025 and consisted of 12 episodes.

According to the authors, the new season will delve deeper into Rua's past and her family's history. The story will also explore her relationship with Sven more thoroughly.

The author of the manga Aninohana welcomed the start of preparations for the second season and specifically noted the scene where Rua plays the piano. He also expressed hope that viewers will enjoy the voice work of the actors in the continuation.

The original story is a fantasy-romantic manga by Aminohada with illustrations by Sorajima. The first season of the light anime was produced by Chisaki at Imagica Infos and Imageworks Studio. The official English-language edition of the manga is published by Pocket Comics.

According to the plot, Rua is a candidate for sainthood who can heal others but transfers their wounds onto herself. Because of this, she was despised and called the "Fallen Saintess." After one incident, she learns that all the glory has gone to her friend Arianne, and later receives an unexpected proposal from the second prince. Thus begins her new life as a villainess.
