EA Sports F1 25 will receive an improved PSSR along with the 2026 Season Pack update for PS5 Pro. Codemasters explained that the update already has the PS5 Pro Enhanced label, and the new version of PSSR is expected to provide better performance and clearer visuals.

Technical producer at C-Lamb studio noted that the Sony team made the transition to enhanced PSSR simple, so integrating it into the release was easy. According to Codemasters, players should notice a sharper image right at the game's launch after the pack's release.

In Quality mode, the game maintains 60 fps and utilizes ray tracing — which improves reflections and lighting. This is where enhanced PSSR adds more performance and higher image quality.

There is also a performance mode with 120 Hz for compatible screens, as well as an 8K mode for ultra-high-definition televisions. In PS5 Pro quality mode, there are also Ray Traced reflections, dynamic diffuse global illumination, and ray traced global illumination.

The pack adds a complete experience of the 2026 FIA Formula One World Championship to EA Sports F1 25: updated rules, new teams Audi and Cadillac, updated driver line-ups, and a new track, Madring.

The update also expands Career and My Team, and for those who do not have the base game, F1 25: 2026 Season Edition will be released — featuring the pack's content and the F1 25 game itself. The release of F1 25: 2026 Season Pack and F1 25: 2026 Season Edition is scheduled for June 3, 2026, on PlayStation 5.
