Recently I changed the nozzle on P1S and when I discovered a broken thermistor - I ordered a new one. While browsing the store's assortment, I saw PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene / synthetic polymer) tubes.

Well, I remembered that I have a belt tensioner taped up, because the edge of the filament could accidentally get there XLINKSTARTX2X. Why not fix this issue in a neater way?

The PTFE tube will reduce the tension of the filament, which can sometimes rub against the printer. In theory, less dust will get into the nozzle from the outside, as the printing goes directly from the dryer.

The tube arrived, I cut a comfortable length for myself (a bit extra, so the dryer could be moved). But the PTFE tube does not fit into the dryer hole. We need to figure something out. As always, we go to makerworld and find an adapter (PTFE Grommet) for the Sovol dryer. Here’s the link to the model:

We print. We insert. We enjoy the improvement ^_^. By the way, I ordered a transparent tube to see the filament better.

It looked something like this.
