Merlin Bird ID is like Shazam, but for birds. When you hear a song, just open the app, press the “Listen” button, and Merlin will start recording and analyzing the sounds around you. In a few seconds, you will receive a list of likely birds that are singing nearby. The app not only shows photos but also displays when exactly each bird sang in the recording, so you can accurately match the sound to a specific species.
To display bird names in Ukrainian, open the settings (bottom right) and select “Ukrainian” in the “Common Names Language” section.
