Looking at rils on Instagram to find ideas, we came across an interesting and non-standard recipe for “protein” pizza. Why protein? Because instead of a base made of flour, it uses... minced chicken! In the description of the video, the author indicated that this is a real protein bomb. And it was also an interesting solution to use honey and srirachu to enhance the flavors. We couldn't be left out and try to recreate this recipe in our kitchen. What we have come up with, traditionally, with a list of ingredients and photos of all stages of –, we tell and show further.
Difficulty: 2 of 5
Time expenditure: 45-60 min
Cost: average
We'll need:
500 g of chicken fillet
70-100 g of parmesan
2 medium chicken eggs
dry garlic
seasoning “Italian herbs” (dry mixture of dishes)
salt, ground black pepper
100-150 g of hard cheese (to your own taste, the main thing is to melt well)
150 g salami or any cured or smoked sausage
tomato sauce
we made tomato sauce ourselves, so we needed an additional list of products:
2 tomatoes,
1 large clove of garlic,
2 tablespoons of concentrated tomato paste,
dry mixture of Italian herbs
some olive oil for frying
sriracha
honey
Preparation
Beat the eggs. Rub the parmesan on a fine grater. Mix these products together with minced meat, add a dry mixture of “Italian herbs”, dried garlic, salt and pepper to taste.
We lay out the mass on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper (from our own experience, we recommend taking siliconized, the mass will not stick to it during baking). Level with a spatula, put in an oven with a temperature of 230 degrees for 30 minutes.
During this time, we can prepare the filling. Everything is simple here: it is necessary to cut the sausage as thinly as possible and grate the cheese. Or buy everything already grated/cut.
We didn't have tomato sauce, so we decided to make it ourselves. The peels of the tomatoes were removed by the blanching method, and they were finely chopped. Chopped garlic. They heated the pan, added some olive oil. Put out the garlic, fry it for literally a minute so that it gives off the aroma of oil. Chopped blanched tomatoes were added.
Simmer over medium heat for 10-15 minutes, then add concentrated tomato paste, salt, pepper, Italian herbs and a little water. Evaporate to the required thick consistency.
For spicyness, you can add a little srirachi to the same tomato sauce, which we did.Remove the base from the minced meat from the oven, let it dry for a few minutes.
Put the prepared tomato sauce on it, level it evenly. Place the sausage over the entire area, sprinkle with cheese. We pour our pizza with sriracha (a very thin trickle) and honey.
We send it to the oven for another 10 minutes at a temperature of 230 degrees
Take it out and taste it!
