The official website of the new full-length film Sgt. Frog has announced new guest voice actors and a narrator. The film, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the anime series, will be released in Japan on June 26, 2026.
Joining the cast are artist ano and comedian Soshina from the duo Shimofuri Myojo, who also perform the opening "Mata Kaettekitakero! to March". Additionally, ano sings the film's theme "Kashippanashi Destiny".
Who they will voice in the film
ano plays the role of a research robot who helps the new original characters Aruru and Deruru. She admitted that she did not expect such participation and was incredibly happy to join Sgt. Frog, even if just for a short time.
Soshina voices a man in Shibuya who becomes passionate after being possessed by a yokai. The comedian himself said that even in the scenes before and after his episode, the signature style of Keroro is very strong, so he truly enjoyed watching it.
Who else is working on the film
The film's narrator has been confirmed as Shinobu Hasegawa from the comedy duo Sissonne. He noted that it was a very exciting offer for him, and he will strive to honor the legacy of his predecessors.
The general director and screenwriter is Yuichi Fukuda, the director is Fumitoshi Oizaki, and character design is by Satoshi Koike. The animation is being produced by BN Pictures, and five main voice actors from the original cast will return to their roles.
