For the anime Mercedes and the Waning Moon: The Dungeoneering Feats of a Discarded Vampire Aristocrat, a teaser trailer and key visual have been revealed. Along with this, it has been confirmed that the series will premiere in January 2027.

The main character Mercedes Grunewald is voiced by Anna Nagase, known for her role as Akane in Akane-banashi. The director of the anime is Kunihisa Sugishima at the studio Teddy.

The series composition is handled by Jun Kumagai, character design is done by Nami Shoyama, and the music is composed by R・O・N and Shuhei Mutsuki.

The anime is based on the light novel Fire head and KeG, which is published in English by J-Novel Club. The story follows Mercedes, who, after reincarnation in a world of vampires, tries to grow strong and provide for her family through dungeon exploration.
