For Sasaki and Peeps Season 2, a new teaser and visual have been presented. Along with this, it was announced that the new season will premiere in October 2026.

Crunchyroll also previously confirmed that it will stream the series when it airs.

The director of the second season will be Yushi Abe (Puniru is a Kawaii Slime), who works at the studio SILVER LINK.. The assistant director will be Yamato Ouchi.

The series composition is handled by Deko Akao, and the character design was prepared by Saori Nakashiki. Among the additional team are chief animation directors Saori Nakashiki and Yuki Sawairi, action supervisor Kazunori Ozawa, director of photography Yuko Shintani, art director Yuki Shinjo, 3D director Tsutomi Ogasawara, color designer Shiho Mizumoto, and sound director Nobuyuki Abe.

Crunchyroll shows the first season of Sasaki and Peeps and describes the story as follows: Sasaki is a middle-aged office worker living in Japan. Tired of his empty corporate life, he goes to a pet store in search of a new companion and finds a cute bird named Peeps.

However, at home, Sasaki quickly learns that Peeps is not an ordinary bird at all, but a powerful mage from another world. Together they embark on a magical adventure filled with swords and sorcery.
