VVM Filament have coils for black PETG plastic (1kg) of this type:

A convenient hole on the side to orient (visually) in the amount of plastic residue. But in order to know the weight of the filament, you need to weigh the coil with the filament and subtract the weight of the empty coil. On average, it is approximately 190 grams.
Coils from green spool and made of ABS plastic.
Regarding Military Edge (3kg):
There is almost 10 grams of run-up here, so it is better to focus on a larger value of ~ 652 grams. These coils are unmarked and have no hole for visual evaluation of the residue (there may be some name for that hole who knows).
