The final stage of installing Ubuntu. Post-installation setting of Ubuntu.

This note will tell you about the standard post-installation setup after installing Ubuntu. By post-installation, I mean the window that the operating system shows us after installing Ubuntu and logging in for the first time. The setting is subjective and describes my experience /configuration.

From the very beginning, Ubuntu has been asking us about connecting network accounts to synchronize calendars, documents, etc. I miss this step because I will most likely use this laptop for experiments.

Ubuntu Pro - skip too. We choose Skip for now (for some reason this window has not been translated into Ukrainian).

I usually allow system information to be sent. This is a small contribution to product improvement (in this case Canonical).

But I don't turn on the location until I'm sure it's actually needed. This does not mean that I put on a foil cap. This is more about saving resources/battery.

The last window allows us to go to 'Software' and install all the necessary programs. But I will do it separately. So you can click 'Finish'. If you have already connected to the Internet, Ubuntu will want to update. So we will not interfere and click "Install now".

After downloading and installation, you will need to restart the computer.

So let's click on 'Restart now'.

After restarting the system, we will be able to start working with Ubuntu. Later, we will consider the first steps of working with Ubuntu in more detail.
