I've written before that my favorite racing game of childhood is NFSU. I had an NFSU 2 disc on PC, but for some reason I didn't like it that much then. I have an assumption that I had a weak PC at the time, so games that were lagging or not installed automatically went to the "didn't like" category.
I am currently playing NFSU on my MacBook Air M1. Friends asked if it was possible to run the second part (Need For Speed Underground 2) on mac with m1, as well as the first part.
The answer is yes. This is done using a PCSX2 emulator. It is recommended to play using the gamepad. I personally do not like keyboard control.

Use images of your personal PS2 drives to avoid violating any license agreements (not pirating). Personally, I don't have such a collection. I'm currently looking for OLX drives to buy and whiten my conscience for a few images downloaded from the network.
