I already mentioned earlier that my favorite childhood racing game is NFSU. I had the NFSU 2 disc on PC, but for some reason, I didn't like it as much back then. I suspect that my PC was too weak at that time, so games that lagged or didn't install automatically went into the "didn't like" category.
Currently, I am playing NFSU on my MacBook Air M1. Friends asked if it's possible to run the second part (Need For Speed Underground 2) on a Mac with M1 just like the first part.
The answer is yes. This is done using the PCSX2 emulator. Playing with a gamepad is recommended. Personally, I don't like the keyboard controls.

Use images of your personal PS2 discs to avoid violating any licensing agreements (do not pirate). Personally, I don't have such a collection. I'm currently looking for discs on OLX to buy and ease my conscience for a few downloaded images from the internet.
