Rockstar Games and Sony Interactive Entertainment have announced that Grand Theft Auto VI will work best on PS5. The game is scheduled for release on November 19.

PlayStation emphasizes that the console will utilize its capabilities to provide players with a deeper single-player experience in the new story of Jason and Lucia.

For PS5, support for DualSense features has been announced: haptic feedback will transmit vibrations, and adaptive triggers will provide varying resistance during gameplay. The built-in speaker of the controller will also be used.

They specifically mention Tempest 3D AudioTech, which is set to create immersive sound for Leonid's world — from the streets of Vice City to other locations in the state. Another advantage is the ultra-fast SSD, which will ensure nearly instant loading.

Pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI in the PlayStation Store will start on June 25 at midnight local time. There will also be a Grand Theft Auto VI: Ultimate Edition featuring a collection of premium cars, weapons, clothing, and activities related to the story of Jason and Lucia.

Those who make a purchase by November 20 will receive the Vintage Vice City Pack. Additionally, for pre-ordering any edition in the PlayStation Store, a free month of GTA+ is also promised.
