During the Capcom Spotlight 2026, the company showcased new materials for several of its titles: Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen, and Onimusha: Way of the Sword.

The focus was on new paid and free content for Monster Hunter Stories 3, fresh details about the expansion Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen, and another enemy that players will have to overcome in Onimusha.

For Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, a paid expansion Additional Side Story: Rudy is already available, along with a free update featuring new challenging trials for the endgame — content after completing the main game.

The DLC brings back Navirou, familiar to fans of Monster Hunter Stories and Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin. The story is also connected to the past of his descendant — a royal Felyne named Rudy. The expansion also introduces Nergigante from Monster Hunter: World — an extremely dangerous Elder Dragon that cannot be tamed as a Monstie, so players can expect a tough final battle.

The free update adds Royal Monsters — enhanced versions of enemies for those who have already completed the game. After defeating the improved version of the final boss, stronger Royal Monsters will appear in the world, including variations of hostile monsters and Calamitous Elder Dragons.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 returns in the format of Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen — as a bundle for new players and as a standalone expansion. The release is scheduled for October 9 for PS5.

Director Kento Kinoshita, who also worked on the original Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, spoke about the new northern region Norgan. There, players will learn the story of the Fallen Dragon with a terrifying appearance and missing heart, as well as a mysterious woman named Eir. In Norgan, the game cycle Relic Expedition Cycle returns: battles, collecting relics, and evaluating them, after which players can obtain stronger weapons and armor.

The expansion also adds 12 new dungeons Lost Rites with rare equipment that once belonged to past Arisen. Additionally, new hairstyles and tattoo options will be introduced, and the base game will receive another free update at the end of August: additional save slots, an increase in weapon skill slots from four to six, and performance improvements.

Capcom also revealed a new opponent for Onimusha: Way of the Sword — a sword-fighting action game and dark fantasy that brings the Onimusha series back for the first time in 20 years. The main character remains Miyamoto Musashi, who, after being killed by Genma, gains the mystical power of Oni and sets out against enemies in a twisted version of Kyoto during the Edo period.

The new boss named Dohatsu-ten is a fast and powerful Genma that attacks Musashi with a series of sharp strikes. His sword becomes more dangerous as it absorbs the hero's blood, and with the absorption of souls, the enemy only becomes stronger. Onimusha: Way of the Sword will be released on PS5 in September, and a free demo is available on the PlayStation Store.
