At EVO 2026, the final team trailer for MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls was shown. Along with the already known Ghost Rider, the new team Samurai Outriders includes Blade, Loki, and Deadpool.

The developers emphasize that this is not Midnight Sons, but rather Samurai Outriders — a group of grim heroes who do not appear coordinated at the start. Their formation and development will be shown in Episode Mode — the story mode of the game.

Blade, whose real name is Eric Brooks, has undergone training in Japan in this title and has become even stronger both physically and mentally. He fights with the demon-slaying sword Muramasa, as well as using pistols and glaives. Among his moves is Heartstopper: he throws a stake that pins the opponent in place and allows Blade to quickly close the distance.

Loki here appears as a character trying to become a hero. His style is based on tricks, illusions, fakes, and counterattacks, as well as ice and magical projectiles. Deadpool, in turn, fights in his characteristic chaotic manner: using weapons, grenades, and swords, as well as risky techniques that even involve taking damage.

Along with the characters, a new stage was shown — Asgard. In the game, it consists of five zones: Observatory, Bifrost Bridge, Throne Room, Treasure Vault, and Yggdrasil, World Tree.

Before the release, the team also promises a series of deep trailers for all game characters. From July 24 to 26 (PT), a global open beta test will take place on PS5 and PC, where Blade will be available. A PlayStation account will be required to participate.
