Oyster mushrooms are an edible mushroom from the same family as erinaceus (king oyster mushroom, white field mushroom – also an extremely tasty product that we will definitely write about in our blog). This time, oyster mushrooms caught our culinary attention, so we decided to quickly experiment with them.

We will need:Β 

  • fresh oyster mushrooms – 500 g
  • 250-300 ml sour cream (we used homemade, but regular store-bought is fine)
  • 2 medium-sized onions (we used one purple and one regular white)
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • butter for frying
  • salt and pepper
